Dallas Pets Alive is a charity whose goal is to provide home for abandoned pets through its no-kill shelters as well as promote dogs and cats adoptions.
The Quakecon organizers had chosen a few charities to help by giving out donations and providing a booth on the showfloor. Dallas Pets Alive was one of them. They had a couple of friendly dogs on the floor who were attracting people.
