Kauai like all Islands of Hawaii are made from basaltic lava. Natural faults and erosion carved many waterfalls in this landscape, including this one called Wailua falls in Kauai, Hawaii. Rainbows will then form as the sun shines through all the water particles sent through the air by the waterfall.
