Quakecon is the annual gathering of id Software fans and, as of recently, of Bethesda/Zenimax/Arkane fans as well.
It took place in the Hilton Anatole hotel near Dallas Downtown. You have developer talks, booths from hardware and game vendors, a giant LAN party, all kind of game inspired Cosplays, Master Pancake and so on.
